  My experience with melanie was the best experience I have ever had with a lawyer. She took time so much more time then any amount of money could pay. She listened and she saw through every game the opposite side tried to throw at us. She gave me a since of safety in court and outside of court. She sat with me even in the hallway. She has morals and is a amazing person. She is a fighter in court and very well versed with knowledge. I not only got a lawyer but i gained a friend.

  When we couldn't find an attorney, Melanie took our case, worked extremely hard to find all the facts, pursued knowledgeable sources, and kept in pursuit of justice. Through negotiations, which lasted for 10 hours, she stood her ground along with Lee James, and we finally settled compensation. She held us up during crises. She gave great advice. I would highly recommend Melanie and the law firm for the most difficult cases regarding assault. Thank you all so much.

  I would highly recommend James, Vernon & Weeks to my friends and family. The office staff are friendly and they follow through on their commitments. More specifically, I would reccomend Melanie Baillie. I had Melanie represent me in an auto accident that totaled my car and left me with chronic back and neck pain. I was usually able to reach Melanie quite quickly but if she was not available I got a prompt response once she was. She was through and concise and didn't hesitate re explaining things when I often times got overwhelmed or confused. I put my case in her hands and allowed her to call the shots, trusting she would do what was in my best interest. When things started to go awry and we were being strung along by the insurance company, she didn't waiver. As expected, we prevailed. She fought for me, and was honest with me about the possible outcome and risks. People say its hard to find an honest attorney, well, look no further. In the unfortunate case I need legal representation again, there is no doubt I will be calling Melanie at JVW.
