- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★My husband and I give five stars to Willamette Valley Bank and our loan officer Eric Vander Werff. We had been in an active Chapter 13 for 18 months when we applied for our loan. The good side is we hadn't missed a payment. This is very important when applying for a mortgage loan, while in an active Chapter 13. We were the most unlikely to be approved for a home loan. But, Eric told us exactly what would be needed to be approved. It took a lot of getting what wast needed in a timely fashion, plus patients. We closed on July 28, 2017. I would recommend them to anyone dealing with less than perfect credit.By April Penny-Montford, April 28, 2017
